Description

When Cas12 recognizes and cleaves the target DNA under the guidance of guide RNA, its "collateral cleavage" activity is activated, which can efficiently cleave non-specific DNA in the system. By designing Reporter DNA labeled with fluorescent groups or other markers at both ends, CRISPR/Cas12 can detect and amplify signals of DNA templates. The results can then be observed using a fluorometer or test paper. Compared to the original protein, the detection efficiency of LbaCas12a Enhanced Version is increased by 40%~50%.
