Description
5× CM HS-G3Taq Probe Mix (Lyo-Ready) is a specialized reagent for Real-Time PCR using the TaqMan probe-based method. It contains chemically modified HotStart 3G-Taq DNA Polymerase (fully heat-activated), reaction buffer, dNTPs, and stabilizers, formulated as a 5× single-component master mix that does not include ROX dye. The optimized buffer system enables its use in multiplex quantitative PCR assays of up to four targets.
The 5× CM HS-G3Taq Probe Mix (Lyo-Ready) is glycerol-free, allowing seamless integration with our proprietary 3M Spherical Lyophilization Excipient for the easy preparation of lyophilized primer-containing PCR beads. This combination design streamlines the workflow for research, development, and manufacturing, while maintaining flexibility and reducing the complexity of reagent formulation and immobilization.
The third-generation G3Taq DNA Polymerase demonstrates exceptional resistance to inhibitors such as ethanol, guanidine salts, and heparin, making it suitable for use with low-purity DNA templates. The CM HS-G3Taq DNA Polymerase, a chemically modified HotStart variant, remains completely inactive below 50°C and requires heating at 95°C for 5 minutes to fully restore enzymatic activity. This ensures effective suppression of nonspecific amplification, significantly improving PCR specificity.
Features
- Amplification Performance: Capable of amplifying DNA fragments up to 4 kb from λDNA and up to 2 kb from human genomic DNA.
- High Specificity: Remains completely inactive below 50°C and requires heating at 95°C for 5 minutes to fully restore enzymatic activity.
Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmol of dNTP into acid-insoluble material in 30 minutes at 74°C.
Storage
Stable for up to 3 years at -20°C.
