Description

Building upon our exclusive PureRNA Easy rapid RNA extraction technology, which is free from phenol and chloroform, we have further developed proprietary Genomic DNA Cleanup Column technology to ensure effective removal of residual gDNA. The resulting RNA does not require DNase digestion and can be directly used for experiments such as reverse transcription PCR and fluorescence quantitative PCR. Our unique lysis solution swiftly disrupts cells and deactivates cellular RNAases. Subsequently, the lysate passes through a genomic DNA cleanup column where genomic DNA is removed while RNA passes through. The filtered RNA is then bound under high salt conditions to the silica membrane inside a centrifuge column after adjusting binding conditions with ethanol. Following a series of rapid wash and centrifugation steps, protein and wash solutions remove cellular metabolites, proteins, and other impurities. Finally, pure RNA is eluted from the silica membrane using low-salt RNase-free H2O.

Hence, the acceptable range is often lowered to 1.9-2.0. Nevertheless, our products consistently achieve a high standard of purity, typically ranging from 2.1 to 2.2.)
