Description

The unique lysis solution rapidly disrupts cells and deactivates cellular RNAases. Subsequently, after adjusting binding conditions with ethanol, RNA selectively binds to the silica membrane within the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Following a series of rapid wash and centrifugation steps, protein and wash solutions remove cellular metabolites, proteins, and other impurities. Finally, low-salt RNase-free H2O elutes pure RNA from the silica membrane.

• Completely eliminating the use of toxic reagents such as phenol, chloroform, Beta-mercaptoethanol, and ethanol precipitation steps are not required.
• Rapid, streamlined procedures, with individual cell sample processing typically completed within 10 minutes.
• Multiple column washes ensure high purity, with a typical OD260/OD280 ratio ranging from 2.1 to 2.2. (The typical ratio for 100% pure RNA is around 2.2; however, many companies' products exhibit reduced ratios due to residual proteins or DNA, failing to meet the purity standard of 2.2. Hence, the acceptable range is often lowered to 1.9-2.0. Nevertheless, our products consistently achieve a high standard of purity, typically ranging from 2.1 to 2.2.)
