Description
PrimeIAmp™ HotStart Bst DNA/RNA LHNB Microbead, meticulously developed by SBS Genetech, is optimized for LAMP amplification and supports both DNA and RNA target detection. Built upon the rapid and highly tolerant Bst DNA/RNA polymerase, it delivers stable, rapid, and highly sensitive amplification. The integration of HotStart technology significantly reduces the risk of false positives.
The HotStart Bst DNA/RNA polymerase contains a thermally responsive aptamer that inhibits enzyme activity by more than 90% at temperatures below 30 °C and fully restores activity within one minute at temperatures above 60 °C. This property allows for convenient room temperature setup and greatly reduces nonspecific amplification under low-temperature conditions.
In addition, the reagent incorporates LHNB (Leuco-HNB), a chromogenic dye that forms a deep violet complex with Mg²⁺ before the reaction. As the LAMP reaction proceeds, the accumulation of pyrophosphate (PPi) binds Mg²⁺, causing the color to shift from deep violet to pale green, visually indicating successful amplification.

Storage:
- Store at –20 °C in a dry, sealed condition for up to 24 months. Alternatively, it can be stored at room temperature (25 °C) in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
- As the product is in a lyophilized form and highly hygroscopic, it is recommended to store it at –20 °C for up to 12 months after opening.
Precautions
- This product contains a high concentration of salts. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn to avoid contact with skin, eyes, nose, and respiratory tract. In case of accidental contact or inhalation, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- To minimize the risk of aerosol contamination, operations should be conducted in separate designated areas whenever possible.
