Description
PrimeIAmp™ HotStart Bst DNA/RNA Basic Microbead, meticulously developed by SBS Genetech, is a high-performance solution designed for LAMP amplification, compatible with both DNA and RNA target detection. Based on the rapid and highly tolerant Bst DNA/RNA Polymerase, it delivers stable, fast, and highly sensitive amplification performance. The integration of HotStart technology significantly reduces false positives.
HotStart Bst DNA/RNA Polymerase incorporates a heat-activated aptamer, which ensures >90% enzyme activity inhibition below 30 °C and complete activity release within 1 minute above 60 °C. This feature enables convenient room temperature setup while substantially minimizing nonspecific amplification under low-temperature conditions.
This versatile reagent is suitable for a wide range of LAMP-based detection formats, including SYBR Green, Molecular Beacon probes, DP-LAMP probes, and colorimetric assays.

Storage:
- Store at –20 °C in a dry, sealed condition for up to 24 months. Alternatively, it can be stored at room temperature (25 °C) in a sealed container for up to 3 months.
- As the product is in a lyophilized form and highly hygroscopic, it is recommended to store it at –20 °C for up to 12 months after opening.
Precautions
- This product contains a high concentration of salts. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn to avoid contact with skin, eyes, nose, and respiratory tract. In case of accidental contact or inhalation, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- To minimize the risk of aerosol contamination, operations should be conducted in separate designated areas whenever possible.
