Description
G3Taq DNA Polymerase is a third-generation Taq DNA polymerase featuring 5’→3’ exonuclease activity but lacking 3’→5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. It exhibits exceptional tolerance to impurities such as ethanol, guanidine salts, and heparin, enabling it to deliver reliable results even with low-purity DNA templates.
CM HS-G3Taq DNA Polymerase is a chemically modified HotStart version of the enzyme. It remains completely inactive below 50°C and regains full activity only after heating at 95°C for 5 minutes. This feature effectively suppresses nonspecific amplification and significantly enhances PCR specificity and sensitivity.
The enzyme is supplied with a proprietary reaction buffer, optimized to support robust amplification across a broad range of conditions, yielding higher sensitivity and stronger signal intensity.
Features
- Amplification Performance: Capable of amplifying DNA fragments up to 4 kb from λDNA and up to 2 kb from human genomic DNA.
- High Specificity: Remains completely inactive below 50°C and requires heating at 95°C for 5 minutes to fully restore enzymatic activity.

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmol of dNTP into acid-insoluble material in 30 minutes at 74°C.
