All products have special prices for bulk purchase, please contact for more details if required.
Description
Universal Magnetic Bead–Based Host Residual DNA Sample Pretreatment Kit is designed for the pretreatment of biological product samples in host cell residual DNA detection. Based on magnetic bead–based DNA extraction, it maximizes the separation and purification of host residual DNA from samples, enabling recovery of trace DNA from complex matrices. With high-adsorption magnetic beads and optimized buffer systems, the kit ensures efficient and stable extraction of trace amounts of host cell residual DNA.
This pretreatment kit can be used in combination with our host cell residual DNA detection kits (qPCR-based), including:
- E. coli Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- CHO Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- Vero Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- Pichia pastoris Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- Hansenula Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- Vero Host Cell Residual DNA Fragment Analysis Kit
- HEK293 Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- Clostridium botulinum Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
- HEK293 Host Cell Residual DNA Fragment Analysis Kit
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae Host Cell Residual DNA Detection Kit
Kit Components
- Proteinase K Reaction Solution
- Binding Buffer
- Wash Buffer A*
- Wash Buffer B*
- Elution Buffer
- Magnetic Bead Suspension
- Proteinase K
- Glycogen
- Nucleic Acid Precipitation Aid
Note:
- Before use, add 9 mL ethanol (25 extractions) or 36 mL ethanol (100 extractions) to Wash Buffer A*.
- Add 12 mL ethanol (25 extractions) or 48 mL ethanol (100 extractions) to Wash Buffer B*. Label accordingly.
- Mix reagents thoroughly before use. After use, close caps tightly to prevent ethanol evaporation.
- For long-term storage, keep the magnetic bead suspension at 4 °C to maintain binding activity.
Shelf Life
12 months under recommended storage conditions (see kit label for details).
Shipping Conditions
- Component I: Ship and store at room temperature.
- Component II: Ship on ice packs or dry ice; store at –20 °C.
Precautions
- Carefully read this manual before use and follow the instructions. Sample handling is recommended in a clean bench or biosafety cabinet.
- Check room-temperature reagents for precipitation before use. If precipitates are present, dissolve by incubating at 37 °C. Mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge before use.
- Avoid aspirating magnetic beads when pipetting samples. Beads sediment easily; vortex to resuspend before use.
- Return reagents to recommended storage conditions promptly after use. Avoid prolonged exposure to room or high temperatures.
- All consumables (tubes, pipette tips, etc.) must be sterile and nuclease-free.
Materials Required but Not Provided
- Low-retention filter pipette tips (10 µL, 100 µL, 1000 µL)
- 1.5 mL low-retention microcentrifuge tubes
- Absolute ethanol (analytical grade)
- 1× PBS buffer (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺), sterile and nuclease-free
- Ultrapure water
Equipment Required but Not Provided
- Vortex mixer
- Water bath or dry block heater
- Mini centrifuge
- Magnetic rack
- Pipettes (10 µL, 100 µL, 1000 µL)
