Description

Viral cDNA 1st Strand Synthesis Kit utilizes a stable and efficient reverse transcription premix system, 5×RT MasterMix, for the reverse transcription of RNA. During use, simply add the template, primers, and RNase-Free H2O, significantly simplifying the operation, increasing efficiency, and reducing human error. This kit is suitable for the synthesis of cDNA from viral RNA samples.

The premix system includes MLV Reverse Transcriptase, a point mutation-derived enzyme with no RNase H activity, along with dNTPs, reaction buffer, gDNA removal reagents, and an RNase inhibitor. The reverse transcriptase used in this kit lacks RNase H activity, preventing RNA degradation during the reverse transcription process. Additionally, through mutation library screening, the enzyme's thermostability has been enhanced, allowing it to withstand high-temperature reactions at 55°C. Compared to reverse transcription at lower temperatures, high-temperature reverse transcription can significantly unwind RNA secondary structures, improving the amplification performance of complex RNA templates, as well as increasing the length and yield of cDNA, thereby enhancing the sensitivity of subsequent detection. The synthesized first-strand cDNA can be widely used for second-strand synthesis, hybridization, PCR amplification, and Real-Time PCR.

Storage

Please store at -20°C, can be preserved for 2 years; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 

Note: If precipitation occurs in the 5×RT MasterMix (with gDNA Remover), it is normal. Warm it with your hands and mix well before use; it will not affect the experimental results.
