The High-Activity Tissue Preservation Solution is designed for short-term preservation of fresh human, mouse, rat, and other animal solid tissues and organs (including tumor, heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, brain, skin, etc.) at 2–8 °C for 48–96 hours. It maintains cell morphology, viability, surface markers, transcriptomic features, and functional integrity. The solution is compatible with multiple single-cell dissociation systems and supports downstream applications such as single-cell sequencing, flow cytometry analysis and sorting, primary cell isolation, organoid construction, and nucleic acid/protein extraction.

Description

The High-Activity Tissue Preservation Solution is designed for short-term preservation of fresh human, mouse, rat, and other animal solid tissues and organs (including tumor, heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, brain, skin, etc.) at 2–8 °C for 48–96 hours. It maintains cell morphology, viability, surface markers, transcriptomic features, and functional integrity. The solution is compatible with multiple single-cell dissociation systems and supports downstream applications such as single-cell sequencing, flow cytometry analysis and sorting, primary cell isolation, organoid construction, and nucleic acid/protein extraction.

 

Features

  • Serum-free formulation: No animal serum proteins; defined composition avoids interference with downstream experiments.
  • Ready-to-use design: No preparation required; use directly after opening.
  • Broad-spectrum applicability: Contains multiple protective agents suitable for diverse tissues and organs.
  • Extended preservation: Maintains tissue integrity for up to 96 hours at 2–8 °C.

 

Protocol

  1. Add pre-cooled (2–8 °C) preservation solution into sterile cryovials. Use at a tissue-to-solution ratio of 1:5–1:10. For vascular or tubular tissues, perfuse with solution before immersion.
  2. Under sterile conditions, remove necrotic tissue, fat, and blood from freshly isolated organs, then rinse with pre-cooled sterile PBS.
  3. Within 1 minute of isolation, immerse tissues in pre-cooled preservation solution. If necessary, cut tissues into ≤ 3 mm³ pieces for optimal preservation. Seal cryovials, invert to mix thoroughly, and store or transport at 2–8 °C.

 

Notes

  • If not used completely after opening, aliquot and store: –20 °C for up to 12 months or 2–8 °C for up to 2 weeks.
  • Cutting tissues into ≤ 3 mm³ pieces improves preservation by preventing central hypoxia and necrosis.
  • Maximum preservation time is 96 hours. For longer storage, use High-Activity Cell Cryopreservation Solution (MJ105) at –80 °C.
  • Supplied sterile; maintain aseptic conditions during use to avoid contamination.
