Description

The unique lysis solution rapidly breaks down cells and inactivates cellular RNA enzymes. After adjusting the binding conditions with ethanol, RNA selectively binds to the silica matrix membrane inside the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Following a series of rapid wash-centrifugation steps, the protein removal solution and wash solution remove cell metabolites, proteins, and other impurities. Finally, pure RNA is eluted from the silica matrix membrane using low-salt RNase-free H2O.

This overcomes the inconsistent quality issue commonly found in membranes of standard kits.
• There's no need to use toxic reagents like phenol, chloroform, or beta-mercaptoethanol. Additionally, steps involving ethanol precipitation are unnecessary.
• The process is quick and straightforward, with the extraction for a single sample typically completed within 30 minutes.
• Multiple column washes ensure high purity, with a typical OD260/OD280 ratio of 1.9 to 2.0, virtually no DNA residue, making the RNA suitable for RT-PCR, Northern-blot, and various other experiments.
