Description
Prime T7 RNA Polymerase exhibits high specificity for the T7 bacteriophage promoter, and uses this promoter together with a DNA template to synthesize sense‑strand RNA in vitro. Both double‑stranded linearized plasmid DNA and PCR products can serve as suitable templates for this enzyme.
Compared with the wild‑type enzyme, Prime T7 RNA Polymerase—engineered through structural reconstruction and library screening—shows significant improvements in several key performance attributes:
- Higher DNA‑binding affinity in the template‑interaction region, enabling more processive RNA synthesis. This results in higher overall yield and facilitates efficient transcription of long RNA fragments.
- Substantially enhanced thermostability, allowing robust activity across 37–45 °C. Elevated‑temperature transcription reduces dsRNA secondary structures, which is advantageous for the preparation of therapeutic RNAs.
The enzyme is a recombinant, highly purified product, free of DNase and RNase contamination.

Storage
The minimum shelf life is 2 years at - 20°C. If there are white precipitates, please use the enzyme after a warm bath at 37°C for 5 minutes. This will not affect the performance.
