Description
HotStart Bst P DNA/RNA Polymerase is an upgraded version of Bst DNA/RNA Polymerase, developed through enzyme electronic re-engineering and evolutionary screening (in silico design and in vitro evolution). It is broadly applicable for DNA and RNA amplification via LAMP or RT-LAMP.
Performance Enhancements Include:
Heat-Activated Aptamer Control: The enzyme incorporates a heat-start aptamer that ensures >90% inhibition of enzymatic activity below 30°C, with complete activation within 1 minute at temperatures above 60°C. This enables reaction setup at room temperature while significantly reducing nonspecific amplification under low-temperature conditions.
Elevated Reaction Temperature (up to 70°C): Higher operating temperatures suppress primer dimer formation, enhance amplification specificity, and improve nucleic acid release from crude samples.
Integrated Helicase Functionality:
Components
- HS Bst P DNA/RNA Polymerase (16U/μl)
- 10×IsoAmp Buffer2(Mg2+ free)
- 100mM Mg2+
Storage
For long-term preservation, store below –20°C (stable for up to 2 years). The product tolerates up to 10 freeze–thaw cycles without performance loss, though repeated freeze–thawing should be avoided. Once thawed, it is recommended to store the product at 2–8°C, where it remains stable for up to 1 month.
