HotStart Aptamer Taq DNA Polymerase
$150.00 - $1,665.00
Cat. No.: HSAT-250 (for 250U)
Cat. No.: HSAT-5k (for 5KU)
Description
HotStart Aptamer Taq DNA Polymerase is a third-generation DNA polymerase with 5’-3’ exonuclease activity and lacks 3’-5’ exonuclease activity. It exhibits exceptional tolerance to impurities such as ethanol, guanidine salts, and heparin, making it suitable for obtaining reliable experimental results even with impure DNA templates. Additionally, AptaTaq DNA Polymerase is known for its rapid enzyme activity, boasting an extension rate of 4kb/min. In fast qPCR protocols, amplification and probe cleavage can be achieved within 10 seconds of annealing and extension.
This polymerase features a high-affinity nucleic acid aptamer that blocks the enzyme's active site. Consequently, Taq DNA Polymerase remains inactive at low temperatures. However, as the temperature increases to 50°C, the nucleic acid aptamer dissociates from the active site, enabling enzyme activity.

Features
High Tolerance to Impurities: Exhibits exceptional tolerance to impurities such as ethanol, guanidine salts, and heparin, allowing for reliable experimental results even with impure DNA templates.
Enhanced Specificity: Third-generation DNA polymerase with 5’-3’ exonuclease activity and lacks 3’-5’ exonuclease activity, ensuring high specificity during amplification.
Rapid Enzyme Activity: Known for its rapid enzyme activity, with an impressive extension rate of 4kb/min, facilitating faster amplification processes.
Efficient qPCR Protocols: Enables efficient amplification and probe cleavage within 10 seconds of annealing and extension in fast qPCR protocols, enhancing experimental efficiency.
HotStart Technology: Utilizes a high-affinity nucleic acid aptamer to block the enzyme's active site at low temperatures, preventing non-specific amplification and enhancing reaction specificity.
Storage
Stored at -20°C or below, it can be preserved for 3 years. When frequently used, it can be stored at 4°C for 1 month. Performance remains unchanged after 30 repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
