Description
The core enzymes of Aptamer Probe exRT-qPCR LyoMix are HotStart Aptamer Taq DNA Polymerase and Ex Reverse Transcriptase (Extreme ThermoStable Reverse Transcriptase), assembled specifically for RT-qPCR amplification of RNA templates using TaqMan probe-based methodology.
Content
- 2.5 x Aptamer Probe exRT-qPCR LyoMix
Features
- Aptamer Taq DNA Polymerase features a high-affinity nucleic acid aptamer (Aptamer) that blocks the enzyme's active site. Consequently, Taq DNA Polymerase remains inactive at low temperatures. As the temperature increases to 50°C, the nucleic acid aptamer dissociates from the enzyme's active site, thereby releasing its activity. The Aptamer possesses full-length amplification control capability, facilitating high sensitivity amplification and multiple TaqMan PCR amplifications. Moreover, Aptamer Taq DNA Polymerase is a rapid enzyme with an extension rate of 4kb/min. In fast qPCR protocols, amplification and probe cleavage can be achieved within 10 seconds of annealing and extension.
- EX Reverse Transcriptase is our latest development of an extremely heat-stable reverse transcriptase enzyme. The enzyme retains over 85% of its activity after heating at 85°C for 2 minutes, with the optimal reverse transcription temperature ranging from 55 to 75°C. This high-temperature reverse transcription characteristic significantly reduces non-specific amplification, increases target detection sensitivity, and enhances the amplification performance of multiple RT-qPCR and high GC content targets.
- The exclusive lyophilization formula of this product endows it with versatility, meeting not only routine research needs but also enabling simultaneous development and production of lyophilized products under one reagent. Using this reagent eliminates the need for adding any other auxiliary reagents to complete the lyophilized product system.
Storage
For long-term storage, please store at -20°C or below (effective for 18 months). The product remains unaffected after 10 repeated freeze-thaw cycles, but repeated freeze-thawing should be avoided. For short-term storage, it is recommended to store at 2-8°C, where the product remains stable for 2 weeks. Due to the high concentration of lyophilized excipients, the product may contain white insoluble material upon reconstitution. In this case, the product can be completely dissolved by placing it at 30°C (or in the palm of the hand) for 3-5 minutes, without any degradation in performance.
