Genomic DNA extracted from soil using ordinary handheld devices or reagent kits often contains strong PCR inhibitors such as humic acids and fulvic acids, leading to experimental failure. Additionally, the use of vigorous glass bead beating to break bacterial cells often results in DNA shearing and degradation. Our company has developed a proprietary soil genomic DNA extraction method, protected by intellectual property rights, after extensive research and development. This method uses a patented reagent formula that effectively removes humic and fulvic acids in combination with specially treated purification columns. These components work together to remove impurities to the greatest extent possible, and multiple column washes ensure that the obtained DNA is of extremely high purity. Furthermore, our unique extraction and lysis system rapidly lyses cells (and cell walls) and inactivates intracellular nucleases without the need for glass bead disruption, effectively preserving the integrity of the genomic DNA.
