Description

Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) is a white to off-white instant soluble granule. Each pouch of Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) instant granules can be used to prepare 1 L of 1× Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) solution, making it easy and convenient to use. The main components of Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) are 48 mM Tris, 39 mM glycine, and 0.04% SDS.

Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) is suitable for protein immunoblotting experiments (Western Blot) using the semi-dry electrophoresis transfer method. It is pre-mixed with SDS and is suitable for high molecular weight proteins or hydrophobic proteins.

Components

• Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry): 100 Pouches (100×1 L)

Protocol

1. Measure approximately 600 ml of distilled water and add it to a beaker. Place a magnetic stir bar inside the beaker.
2. Position the beaker on a magnetic stirrer and slowly add the entire contents of one pouch of Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) quick-dissolve pellets. Stir the solution until it is completely dissolved.
3. Add 200 ml of anhydrous ethanol to the Transfer Buffer (Semi Dry) solution from step 2, and then make up the volume to 1 L with water to obtain a 1× working solution.
