Description
TD DNA Polymerase is a novel Taq DNA polymerase that exhibits strong strand displacement activity similar to Bst polymerase, along with the heat resistance characteristic of Taq DNA polymerase. It can withstand high temperatures of up to 90°C (briefly tolerating 92°C) and possesses 5'-3' polymerase activity, 5'-3' strand displacement activity, and no exonuclease activity. With an amplification speed of 2 kb/min and an optimal reaction temperature of 70°C, this enzyme is widely applicable for thermophilic PCDR (Polymerase Chain Displacement Reaction), LAMP reactions, long fragment amplification, and GC-rich fragment amplification. It can also be used in whole genome amplification (WGA), single-cell sequencing, and NGS library preparation.
When combined with Taq DNA polymerase, TD DNA polymerase enables the cleavage of TaqMan probes for qPCDR amplification. This innovative qPCDR approach leverages the high sensitivity of slot PCR within a single-tube, one-step amplification process, offering 10-100 times greater sensitivity than qPCR and reducing processing time.
