Description

Strep-tag II consists of a chemically balanced short peptide of only 8 amino acids (Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys), which has a negligible impact on the structure and activity of recombinant proteins. Therefore, there is no need to remove the Strep-tag II from the target protein during the purification process. Additionally, the target protein can be purified under physiological conditions. Compared to other tags, these mild purification parameters help maintain the biological activity of the protein and achieve a purity of over 99%.
