Description

This kit allows for the efficient and specific binding of RNA (including small RNAs such as microRNA) to silica gel membranes under high salt conditions, while maximally removing proteins, inorganic salt ions, and many organic impurities. Under low salt conditions, the RNA (including small RNAs like microRNA) is eluted. This kit can process up to 100 μg of RNA samples. It is used for the purification and recovery of RNA from enzymatic reaction solutions (such as DNase treatment, in vitro transcription, RNA capping, protease treatment, RNA labeling, etc.), and can also be used for the purification of RNA extracted by other methods. It can purify not only large fragments of mRNA and other RNAs, but also various small RNAs, including microRNA. The purified total RNA has no protein contamination, and the resulting RNA can be used for downstream experiments such as NGS RNA library construction, reverse transcription fluorescent quantitative PCR, Northern blot, formation of ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complexes for genome editing, microinjection, RNA labeling, RNA interference, and transfection.
