Description
Recombinant Renilla Luciferase is a luciferase enzyme derived from Renilla and recombinantly expressed in E. coli. It has a molecular weight of approximately 37 kDa. This enzyme uses coelenterazine as a substrate and, in the presence of molecular oxygen, catalyzes the oxidation of coelenterazine to coelenteramide, emitting bioluminescence with a peak wavelength around 465 nm.
