Description

Primer Cleanup Kit for PCR Products is a specialized reagent kit designed for the rapid, efficient, and straightforward removal of excess primers and dNTPs from PCR systems using enzymes such as single-strand DNA exonucleases. The purified products from this kit can be directly applied to Sanger sequencing, NGS, genotyping, cloning, SNP analysis, and nested PCR experiments. The effectiveness of this kit is comparable to that of ExoSAP-IT PCR Product Cleanup, SAP Clean Up Kit, and Exo SAP Kit.

This kit not only removes remaining single-stranded primers and any foreign single-stranded DNA generated during PCR but also eliminates residual dNTPs from the PCR mixture, thereby reducing the impact of dNTPs on subsequent sequencing and genotyping.

The kit ensures a high recovery rate of PCR products without affecting double-stranded DNA, achieving 100% recovery efficiency.

The kit is user-friendly; Primer Cleanup Mix is active in the PCR buffer system, allowing users to add the Primer Cleanup Mix directly to the PCR product without changing the buffer. Incubation at 37ºC for 20 minutes is sufficient. The activity of the Primer Cleanup Mix can be inactivated by incubating at 80ºC for 20 minutes, with no further treatment required, ensuring no impact on subsequent experiments.

Using this kit can significantly improve the quality of Sanger sequencing and substantially reduce sequencing background noise.

Store at -20°C, valid for at least one year.

• Primer Cleanup Kit is thermally unstable and its activity will gradually decrease at room temperature. Therefore, please keep the reagent on ice when adding samples.
• Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; aliquot the product before use.
