Description

NGS FS DNA Module is a new-generation enzyme-based library preparation reagent designed for high-throughput sequencing platforms like Illumina® and MGI®. This product includes an enzyme mix and reaction buffer required for DNA fragmentation and end repair, allowing for simultaneous random fragmentation and end repair of genomic DNA in a single reaction. The resulting DNA products have a diffuse distribution with 5' phosphorylated ends and 3' dA overhangs, which can be directly used in the A/T adapter ligation reaction in the NGS library construction process. Longer reaction times result in smaller DNA fragments, allowing users to adjust the reaction time based on their needs to obtain different fragment distributions. This product eliminates the cumbersome ultrasonication process, simplifies the operation procedure, and the reaction products can be used directly in the adapter ligation reaction in library construction with Rapid Ligation Module without the need for purification.
