Description

Filter Paper for Blotting Transfer is a pre-cut filter paper that can be directly used for protein or nucleic acid transfer in experiments such as Western, Northern, Southern, and EMSA. This blotting filter paper is compatible with the Bio-Rad MiniTrans-Blot transfer cell and other transfer cells of similar sizes.

The material of this blotting filter paper is made of 100% pure cotton cellulose, without any additives. It has a smooth surface, uniform texture, and contains no impurities that could interfere with experimental results, ensuring good reproducibility. This blotting filter paper is resistant to methanol, ethanol, and other organic reagents used in protein and nucleic acid blotting.

The thickness of the filter paper is approximately 0.4mm. It is pre-cut to a size of 7.5×10cm, eliminating the need for self-cutting, making it more convenient to use.

The recommended quantity for transfer is 1-3 pieces on each side. If the foam pad (also known as a sponge pad) in the transfer cell significantly decreases in thickness after prolonged use, the quantity of blotting filter paper can be appropriately increased.

• Given that the size of this blotting filter paper is slightly larger than the gel and blotting membrane, it is suitable for wet transfer. If used for semi-dry or dry transfer, to avoid short circuits, please cut it to the same size as the gel and blotting membrane.
• This product is intended only for scientific research by professionals and should not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, nor for food or drugs. It should not be stored in regular residential areas.
• For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and use disposable gloves when handling.
