Bacterial Plus RNA Rapid Extraction Kit

Based on the company's introduction of phenol-free and chloroform-free RNA rapid extraction technology, we have exclusively developed a genomic DNA removal column technology to ensure the effective clearance of gDNA residues. The obtained RNA does not require DNase digestion and can be directly used for reverse transcription PCR, fluorescence quantitative PCR, and other experiments. The unique lysis solution swiftly breaks down cells and inactivates cellular RNA enzymes. The lysed mixture then passes through a genomic DNA clearance column, where genomic DNA is removed, and RNA penetrates and filters through. After adjusting the binding conditions of the filtered RNA with ethanol, RNA selectively adsorbs to the silica matrix membrane inside the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Through a series of rapid wash-centrifugation steps, protein removal and wash solutions eliminate cellular metabolites, proteins, and other impurities. Finally, RNase-free H2O with low salt concentration elutes the pure RNA from the silica matrix membrane.

Description

Features

  • The process entirely avoids the use of toxic reagents like phenol, chloroform, and beta-mercaptoethanol, and there's no need for steps like ethanol precipitation.
  • The method is rapid and straightforward; the operation for a single sample can generally be completed within 30 minutes.
  • The exclusively developed genomic DNA removal column technology ensures the effective elimination of gDNA residues. The resulting RNA does not require DNase digestion and can be directly used for reverse transcription PCR, fluorescence quantitative PCR, and other experiments.
  • Multiple column washes ensure high purity. The typical OD260/OD280 ratio reaches 1.9 to 2.0, with virtually no DNA residues remaining. The purified product is suitable for RT-PCR, Northern-blot, and various other experiments.

 

Storage

This kit can be stored at room temperature for 6 months without affecting its performance.
