Description
Anti-HA Magnetic Beads, also known as Anti-HA Immunomagnetic Beads or HA Antibody Magnetic Beads, are covalently coupled with high-quality HA mouse monoclonal antibodies and nano-sized amino magnetic beads. They can specifically bind to proteins containing the HA tag in lysates, serum, ascites, and other samples derived from animals, plants, or microorganisms. These beads are used for immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), or purification of fusion proteins or protein complexes carrying the HA tag.
HA tag, Flag tag, Myc tag, His tag, GST tag, and other commonly used tags are frequently employed in expression vectors. Fusion expression with these tags allows convenient detection of the target protein and its interacting partners and facilitates the purification of the target protein.
The HA tag is a peptide consisting of nine amino acid residues (YPYDVPDYA) derived from amino acid positions 98-106 of the hemagglutinin protein of the human influenza virus. Therefore, it is called the HA peptide. The commonly used forms of the HA tag are HA and 3X HA. By genetically fusing the HA tag nucleotide sequence to the 5' or 3' end of the target gene, the desired protein can be expressed with the HA tag. The HA tag offers several advantages: it usually does not interact with the target protein, and in most cases, it does not affect the function of the target protein. As a tag protein, the HA tag enables subsequent detection, localization, and purification of the target gene using HA antibodies, Anti-HA Magnetic Beads, or other related techniques such as immunoprecipitation or co-immunoprecipitation. Based on these advantages, the HA tag has been widely applied in various aspects of protein expression, purification, identification, protein-protein interactions, and functional studies.
Anti-HA Magnetic Beads, also known as Anti-YPYDVPDYA Magnetic Beads, can specifically bind to fusion proteins carrying the HA tag. They can be conveniently applied in immunoprecipitation, purification, and other experiments involving fusion proteins or protein complexes with the HA tag, using magnetic separation devices such as magnetic racks.
