dCas9 NLS (Lyophilized)

dCas9 NLS is a nuclease with a Nuclear Localization Signal (NLS) that specifically binds double-stranded DNA under the guidance of gRNA without cutting it. dCas9 NLS is a D10A/H840A double mutant created by amino acid mutations in the RuvC and HNH domains of the Cas9 nuclease. Like the wild-type Cas9 nuclease, dCas9 NLS targets the DNA sequence with the help of gRNA. However, due to mutations in the RuvC and HNH domains, dCas9 NLS has gRNA-guided DNA binding activity without endonuclease activity.
