Description

Simian Virus 5 (SV5) belongs to the single-stranded RNA viruses, which include many well-known human and animal viruses. All parainfluenza viruses are transmitted through the respiratory tract and most can cause acute diseases and are highly infectious. Among them, Simian Virus 5 (SV5) has a wide range of hosts and can infect monkeys, pigs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even humans. Therefore, rapid detection of Simian Virus 5 (SV5) is of great importance. To this end, our company has developed a detection kit for Simian Virus 5 (SV5) based on the dye qRT-PCR technology, which has the following features:

• One-stop solution, no need to separately prepare each component, only RNA samples are required.
• Dye-based qRT-PCR detection with sensitivity 10-100 times higher than conventional RT-PCR.
• Primers designed based on conserved gene sequences with good specificity, no cross-reactivity with RNA from other organisms.
• Uses a one-tube qRT-PCR technology, RT and PCR steps are completed in a single tube, reducing operational errors and potential contamination.
• Suitable for both qualitative and quantitative detection, with a linear range of at least 5 orders of magnitude for quantitative detection.
• This product is sufficient for 50 reactions of 20μL RT-PCR system.
• For research use only, not for clinical use.
