Description

The human Y chromosome is 95% male-specific, containing genes related to male characteristics. This product targets one of these genes as the molecular marker and is a probe-based quantitative fluorescence PCR product designed for detecting the presence of the Y chromosome in samples. It has the following features:

• Ready-to-use—users only need to provide the sample DNA template.
• Primers and probes are optimized for high sensitivity, achieving detection as low as 10 copies per reaction.
• Positive controls are included to rule out false-negative results.
• Can detect endogenous reference genes (located on the X chromosome) to exclude false-negative samples.
• High specificity—primers are designed based on highly conserved regions of the human Y chromosome, avoiding cross-reactions with DNA from other human chromosomes.
• Suitable for qualitative detection.
• Designed for 50 20μL probe-based quantitative PCR reactions.
• Intended exclusively for research purposes.
