Description
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is an epitheliotropic virus that can cause cervical cancer. There are more than 100 subtypes of HPV, 13 of which are classified as high-risk and the rest as low-risk. Persistent infection with high-risk HPV is a cause of cervical cancer and several other malignant tumors. Therefore, rapid detection of these 13 high-risk HPV types is of great significance. This product is a universal reagent kit developed based on probe-based fluorescent quantitative PCR technology specifically designed to detect the 13 high-risk HPV types. It has the following features:
- Ready-to-use; users only need to provide the DNA sample template.
- The primers and probes are optimized, offering high analytical sensitivity, achieving up to 100 copies per reaction.
- Includes a positive control to help distinguish false-negative samples.
- High specificity; the primers are designed based on the highly conserved regions of HPV DNA, ensuring no cross-reaction with other organisms' DNA.
- Capable of detecting 13 high-risk HPV types, namely HPV-16, HPV-18, HPV-31, HPV-33, HPV-35, HPV-39, HPV-45, HPV-51, HPV-52, HPV-56, HPV-58, HPV-59, and HPV-68.
- Suitable for both qualitative and quantitative detection. For quantitative detection, the linear range is at least five orders of magnitude.
- This product is sufficient for 50 reactions with a 20μL system of probe-based fluorescent quantitative PCR.
- This product is for research use only.
