AF 647 DBCO
Description
AF 647 DBCO can be linked to other compounds containing amines, alkynes, azides, or tetrazines through click chemistry, allowing the synthesis of a series of AF 647 fluorescent probes. It is a bright far-red fluorescent dye with a high quantum yield and photostability. It has good solubility in water and is pH insensitive.
Biological Applications
AF 647 DBCO is suitable for labeling and localization of tissues, cells, and biomolecules in biomedical research. Its excitation spectrum is well-matched for 633 nm or 647 nm laser lines, making it ideal for use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.
Precautions
It is typically provided as part of a reagent kit, such as in cell labeling and detection experiments. Users should take care to protect their eyes and skin and avoid direct contact. Appropriate laboratory safety protocols should be followed when handling.
