The lyophilized Yeast Nucleoside Diphosphokinase is also available by inquiry, which can be transported at room temperature.
Description
Yeast Nucleoside Diphosphokinase catalyzes the transfer of high-energy phosphate groups between adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and nucleoside diphosphate (NDP) and is responsible for the synthesis of ribonucleotides other than ATP in vivo. Generation of triribonucleotides from dinucleotides: (d)XDP+(d)YTP → (d)XTP+(d)YDP. In addition, the enzyme also has NDP kinase activity and protein phosphotransferase activity and participates in transcriptional regulation and signal transduction. The protein comes from S Cerevisiae, obtained by recombinant expression.
Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required for converting 1.0 μmole TDP to TTP per minute in the presence of ATP at 37°C. The specific activity of the enzyme is 1X10e5 U/mg, and the concentration of the product is about 200 ng/ μl.
