Description

The improved guanidinium isothiocyanate/phenol one-step method is used to lyse cells and inactivate RNA enzymes. Then, total RNA is selectively adsorbed onto the silica matrix membrane in the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Through a series of rapid washing-centrifugation steps, the deproteinization liquid and washing liquid remove impurities such as cellular metabolites and proteins. Finally, the pure RNA is eluted from the silica matrix membrane with low-salt RNase-free water.

The variation in adsorption amount between columns is minimal, ensuring high repeatability. This overcomes the drawbacks of the inconsistent quality of membranes in ordinary kits.
