Description

The improved isothiocyanate/phenol one-step method is used to lyse cells and inactivate RNA enzymes. Then, the total RNA selectively adsorbs onto the silica matrix membrane inside the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Through a series of rapid wash-centrifugation steps, the protein removal solution and wash solution eliminate cell metabolites, proteins, and other impurities. Finally, the pure RNA is eluted from the silica matrix membrane using low salt RNase-free water.
