Description
UDP-GalNAz.2Na, or uridine diphosphate N-azidoacetylgalactosamine disodium salt, is a nucleotide sugar used in glycobiology and bioorthogonal chemistry. It is an analog of UDP-GalNAc (uridine diphosphate N-acetylgalactosamine) and serves as a donor substrate for glycosyltransferase enzymes. These enzymes transfer the GalNAz (N-azidoacetylgalactosamine) moiety to acceptor molecules, enabling the study of glycosylation processes.
