Description

UDP-Gal.2Na, or uridine diphosphate galactose disodium salt, is a nucleotide sugar that serves as an activated form of galactose. It is a critical substrate for glycosyltransferase enzymes, which transfer galactose residues to various acceptor molecules during the biosynthesis of glycans, glycoproteins, and glycolipids.
