Description

U6 snRNA Cy3 Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) Probe is a universal red fluorescence probe that can be used in conjunction with the Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization Kit for RNA. It is designed for fluorescence in situ hybridization targeting U6 snRNA in samples derived from Human, Rattus rattus (black rat) [rodents], Mus pahari (shrew mouse) [rodents], Mus caroli (Ryukyu mouse) [rodents], Mastomys coucha (southern multimammate mouse) [rodents], and Xenopus laevis (African clawed frog) [frogs & toads]. This includes cells, fixed tissues, paraffin-embedded or frozen sections.

This product can serve as a positive control when conducting fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) for target RNA detection.

The U6 snRNA Cy3 FISH Probe produced by Bi Yun Tian is a 50nt single-stranded DNA sequence with a Cy3 fluorescent dye labeled at the 5' end. It specifically recognizes U6 snRNA and allows for hybridization. The maximum excitation wavelength is 550nm, and the maximum emission wavelength is 570nm.

The recommended pre-hybridization and hybridization temperature for this product is 45°C. The U6 snRNA Cy3 FISH Probe has a concentration of 1mg/ml. When conducting fluorescence in situ hybridization, it is recommended to use a working concentration of the U6 snRNA Cy3 FISH Probe between 0.5-1µg/ml.

Storage

Store at -20°C, protected from light. The product is effective for one year.
