Description

Tth UvrD Helicase is derived from the Thermus thermophilus. The protein has the ability to unwind 3 '- 5' DNA under heat-stable conditions. In the isothermal amplification at high temperature [thermal Helicase Dependent Amplification (tHDA)], this enzyme can assist the polymerase in the strand unwinding, thus completing the isothermal amplification. Tth UvrD helicase can withstand 65°C and can be used for isothermal amplification independent of the single-strand binding protein. This product is obtained by recombinant expression and purification in E.coli.
