Description

Self-adhesive Aluminum Film adopts high-purity non-permeable soft aluminum film, mainly used for light-proof sealing of porous boards. Its barrier performance is better than plastic film, effectively preventing the penetration of oxygen, moisture, bacteria, and other substances. Aluminum foil sealing film is also known as aluminum foil sealing membrane, PCR membrane, sealing foil, aluminum sealing film, aluminum foil sealing film, Aluminum Protection Film, etc.

Features

• This product has excellent sealing properties with extremely low sample evaporation rate.
• It is easy to peel off from or adhere onto the plate without curling or leaving residue, making it convenient to handle.
• The backing material used in this product is glossy aluminum foil with a total thickness of approximately 80μm, including an acrylic adhesive with initial tackiness and yellow release liner.
• Referencing the diagram, the overall size of this product is approximately 143×80mm, with the sealing part measuring 116×80mm. The series is designed with handles at both ends, approximately 8mm wide, facilitating easy handling without sticking to hands or gloves and aiding in precise positioning and quick removal of the sealing film after sealing.
• This product has initial tackiness, strong adhesion, and sealing properties, allowing for sealing at room temperature, which reduces inter-hole contamination and sample evaporation. It is pierceable, suitable for direct sample retrieval after piercing with single or multi-channel pipettes and mechanical probes.
• It exhibits excellent temperature resistance, withstanding temperatures ranging from -80°C to +120°C.
• The extractable content of this product in various solvents is low, and it exhibits good adhesion to various substrates.
• This product is recommended for general sealing purposes, such as regular PCR, ELISA, and various colorimetric experiments.

Storage

Store at room temperature, valid for three years.

Precautions

• To prevent cross-contamination, it is recommended to use this product only once.
• If you need to reuse it, wash the product thoroughly with distilled or ultrapure water and let it air dry. Drying in an oven is preferable. However, reusing may affect the transfer results. When reusing, if you find that the transfer effect has deteriorated, or the product is damaged or noticeably thinner, please replace it with a new sponge pad promptly.
• This product is intended for scientific research by professionals only and should not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, nor for food or drugs. It should not be stored in regular residential areas.
• For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and use disposable gloves when handling.
