Description

SDS-PAGE Protein Sample Loading Buffer (5X, Odorless) is an improved, safer, and odorless protein loading buffer that uses bromophenol blue as the dye. It is a 5-fold concentrated solution.

Features

• This product is safer and healthier. It uses an odorless, more water-soluble, and similarly reducing agent to replace the smelly dithiothreitol (DTT) or 2-mercaptoethanol, ensuring that this SDS-PAGE protein loading buffer does not emit any odor during normal use or heating, making the protein loading process safer and healthier.

• In addition to being odorless, this product performs the same as conventional protein loading buffers. It can be used for loading conventional SDS-PAGE protein samples. No significant differences have been observed in its performance compared to regular SDS-PAGE protein loading buffers.

Precautions:

• When using this product for protein denaturation, it is recommended to heat it in a 95°C water bath or PCR instrument for 5 minutes. Excessive temperature (such as 100°C) or prolonged time (such as more than 15 minutes) may cause protein degradation or abnormal color of the indicator in the loading buffer.
• The SDS-PAGE Protein Sample Loading Buffer (5X, Odorless) does not contain highly toxic mercaptoethanol or DTT with an irritating odor, but the reduction effect is consistent, and the treatment effect on protein samples and electrophoresis is the same.
• The SDS-PAGE Protein Sample Loading Buffer (5X, Odorless) must be completely dissolved before use. If any precipitates or insoluble substances are found, heat in a 50ºC water bath for about 5-15 minutes until fully dissolved.
• This product is intended for scientific research by professionals only and must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food or drugs, and must not be stored in ordinary residences.
• For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves when handling.

Storage

Store at -20°C, valid for at least one year.
