Description

SDS-PAGE Gel Kit, also known as SDS-PAGE gel preparation reagent kit. This kit provides various reagents needed to prepare SDS-PAGE gels. Users only need to prepare gel-making equipment and distilled water to prepare the PAGE gel.

• 30% Acr-Bis(29:1)
• SDS-PAGE Separating Gel Buffer (4x)
• SDS-PAGE Stacking Gel Buffer (4x)
• APS
• TEMED

Storage

Store at -20℃ with the minimum shelf life of 12 months.

Precautions

• After preparing 10% APS, aliquot and store at -20°C. APS solution is unstable and should be stored at room temperature for as short a time as possible. Return to the refrigerator immediately after each use to prevent loss of efficacy. If prolonged gel polymerization time is observed, consider replacing with 10% APS stored at -20°C.
• The gel polymerization speed of PAGE gel is closely related to temperature, as well as the dosage of APS and TEMED. Keeping other conditions constant, you can control the polymerization speed of the PAGE gel by changing the dosage of APS and TEMED. Too fast gel polymerization is not conducive to operation. The amounts of APS and TEMED in the table can be used as references, and appropriate adjustments should be made according to actual operating conditions.
• During gel preparation, especially during the liquid mixing step, try to avoid the generation of bubbles.
• Be careful when adding water to the top layer of the separating gel. The speed of adding water should not be too fast.
• Acrylamide is neurotoxic. Wear lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
• This product is for research use only and is not intended for human experiments or human therapy.
