Description

The unique lysis solution rapidly breaks down cells and inactivates cellular RNA enzymes. The special plant RNA assistance agent, PLANTaid, helps bind polysaccharides and polyphenols, which are then removed by centrifugation. After adjusting with ethanol, RNA selectively binds to the silica matrix membrane inside the centrifuge column under high salt conditions. Following a series of quick wash-centrifugation steps, unwanted cellular metabolites and proteins are removed with wash buffers. Finally, the purified RNA is eluted from the silica matrix membrane using low-salt RNase-free H2O.

Features

• The silica matrix membrane inside the centrifugal adsorption column is exclusively manufactured by world-renowned companies, ensuring minimal variation in adsorption capacity between columns and excellent repeatability. This overcomes the issue of inconsistent membrane quality seen in ordinary kits.
• There's no need to use toxic reagents such as phenol or chloroform, nor is there any requirement for ethanol precipitation steps.
• It's quick and efficient; processing a single sample generally takes about 30 minutes.

• Multiple column washes ensure high purity, with a typical OD260/OD280 ratio of 1.9 to 2.0, virtually no DNA residue, making it suitable for RT-PCR, Northern-blot, and various other experiments.

Storage

This kit can be stored at room temperature for 12 months without affecting its performance.
