Introduction
PrimeScript Reverse Transcription Mix is a simplified operating system for reverse transcribing RNA into cDNA, containing all the reagents required for the synthesis of first-strand cDNA. Simply add RNA template and water to initiate the reverse transcription reaction. The synthesized first-strand cDNA can be widely used for library construction, second-strand synthesis, hybridization, PCR amplification, RT-qPCR detection, and more. The kit includes a new generation of reverse transcriptase and optimized buffer, which, compared to conventional reverse transcriptase systems, offers advantages such as stronger reverse transcription capability (synthesizing more full-length cDNA), absence of RNaseH activity, high thermal stability, and long half-life. The products of this reverse transcriptase have higher yields, longer cDNA fragments, and broader template usage. The 5x Reaction Mix contains buffer, dNTPs, and optimized reverse transcription primers required for the reverse transcription reaction, while the Supreme Enzyme Mix contains PrimeScript Reverse Transcriptase, Ribonuclease Inhibitor, and dsDNase to simplify the addition steps. The included novel dsDNase can specifically remove double-stranded DNA without digesting RNA samples, reverse transcription primers, or synthesized cDNA. It also exhibits thermal sensitivity, enabling rapid irreversible inactivation at 55°C, facilitating simultaneous removal of genomic contamination and reverse transcription reaction.
