Description

Oroxin A, the principal constituent of an ethanol-water extract from Oroxylum indicum (L.) Kurz (Bignoniaceae) seeds (OISE), activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) by binding to the ligand-binding domain of the PPARγ protein. Additionally, Oroxin A demonstrates inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, Oroxin A exhibits anti-breast cancer effects by inducing ER stress-mediated senescence.
