Description

L-Phenylalanine Dehydrogenase is an effective enzyme used to estimate the content of phenylalanine, allowing for the differentiation of Phenylketonuria (PKU). Enzyme activity is defined as the oxidation of 1.0 μmoles of L-phenylalanine per minute per unit at pH 10.5 and 30°C in the presence of β-NAD.
