Description
β-Glucosidase (Agrobacterium), also known as β-glucosidase or β-D-glucosidase, is a glycoside hydrolase recombinantly expressed in E. coli with the gene originating from Agrobacterium. This enzyme specifically hydrolyzes the terminal β-glucosidic bond of β-D-glucosides to produce β-D-glucose.
This product can be applied in the research and development of food, feed, cellulose hydrolysis, glucoside and fucoside synthesis, carbohydrate transformation and biofuel sectors.

Precautions
- The unit definition of β-Glucosidase from different sources may vary, which requires careful differentiation.
- The optimal reaction temperature of this product is 40 °C. The enzymatic activity at room temperature (25 °C) is approximately 50% of that at 40 °C.
- Metal ions (Ca, Cu, Fe, Fe, Hg, Mg, Ni, Zn), reducing agents (DTT, β-ME), SDS, EDTA and Tris can reduce the enzymatic activity.
- This product is for research use only by qualified professionals. It shall not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food or pharmaceutical production, nor stored in residential premises.
- For personal safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
