Description
DNA-Free Tte Dna G2 Primase is derived from the thermophilic bacterium Thermoanaerobacter tengcongensis and exhibits DNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity as a primase. During DNA replication, it synthesizes RNA primers that guide the synthesis of the leading strand DNA. This enzyme is the wild-type Tte Dna G2 primase, and it has some sequence specificity when synthesizing RNA primers, showing a certain preference for the template. The protein is active within the temperature range of 37-85℃, with an optimal reaction temperature of 70℃. According to literature, it can synthesize RNA primers over 100 nucleotides in length.
Our DNA-Free enzymes are all recombinant proteins and purified through multiple steps, devoid of genomic and plasmid DNA from the production strain.
