Description
DNA-Free RTX DNA Polymerase for RT-PCR exhibits multiple enzymatic activities, including DNA polymerase, reverse transcriptase, and 3’ exonuclease activities, making it an excellent choice for one-step RT-PCR, directly amplifying and quantifying RNA molecules. This enzyme is a modified thermostable DNA polymerase with a half-life of 2-3 hours at 95℃, making it highly suitable for one-step RT-PCR. It is also applicable for RT-LAMP (loop-mediated isothermal amplification) in combination with Bst DNA polymerase large fragment. This enzyme lacks RNaseH activity.
Our DNA-Free RTX DNA Polymerase is a recombinant protein and purified through multiple steps, devoid of genomic and plasmid DNA from the production strain.
Unit Definition
One unit of DNA polymerase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmol deoxyribonucleotide into acid-insoluble material within 30 minutes at 72℃ in 1× RTX DNA polymerase reaction buffer.
One unit of RTase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to catalyze the incorporation of 1 nmol dNTP into acid-insoluble material within 10 minutes at 65℃ using synthetic primer-template as the substrate in 1× RTX DNA polymerase reaction buffer.
