Description

DNA-Free Klenow fragment (exo-) of EcDNApol I (EcDNApolI KF (exo-)) is a truncated version of the Klenow fragment of E. coli DNA polymerase I. It retains polymerase activity but has lost 5´→3´ exonuclease activity, and site-directed mutations (D355A, E357A) have eliminated its 3´→5´ exonuclease activity.

Our DNA-Free Klenow fragment (exo-) of EcDNApol I is a recombinant protein and purified through multiple steps, devoid of genomic and plasmid DNA from the production strain.

 

Unit Definition

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmol dNTP into acid-insoluble material within 30 minutes at 37℃ under 1× EcDNApolI KF (exo-) reaction buffer conditions.
