Cytoplasmic/Nuclear RNA Rapid Extraction Kit

This kit uses a specially formulated lysis solution that can selectively lyse cell membranes, releasing cytoplasmic RNA. By centrifuging and collecting the supernatant, cytoplasmic RNA can be extracted. The remaining nuclear precipitate after removing the supernatant can be used to extract nuclear RNA, achieving the purpose of separately extracting cytoplasmic RNA and nuclear RNA.

Description

This kit uses a specially formulated lysis solution that can selectively lyse cell membranes, releasing cytoplasmic RNA. By centrifuging and collecting the supernatant, cytoplasmic RNA can be extracted. The remaining nuclear precipitate after removing the supernatant can be used to extract nuclear RNA, achieving the purpose of separately extracting cytoplasmic RNA and nuclear RNA.

Features

  • Completely eliminates the use of toxic reagents like phenol and chloroform, with no need for ethanol precipitation steps.
  • Streamlined, with a single sample operation typically completed within 25 minutes.
  • Exclusively developed genomic DNA clearance column technology/special formula effectively removes gDNA residues. Compared with similar imported products, it significantly reduces the amount of gDNA residue in nuclear RNA.
  • Multiple column washes ensure high purity, with a typical OD260/OD280 ratio reaching as high as 2.1~2.2. Virtually no DNA residue remains, making it suitable for RT-PCR, Northern-blot, and various other experiments.

 

Storage

This kit can be stored at room temperature for 12 months without affecting its performance.
